Abstract

This symposium, titled "Patient-reported outcomes in patients with ischaemic heart diseaseâ€, will address participants’ awareness and understanding of health-related quality of life assessment in cardiology by 1] explaining the value of patient-reported outcomes in patients with ischemic heart disease, 2] describing international normative values for the SF-36 in patients with ischemic heart disease, 3] discussing data on the HeartQoL questionnaire, a new core health-related quality of life questionnaire for patients with ischemic heart disease, and 4] hearing a cardiologist’s perspective of assessing health-related quality of life patients with ischemic heart disease.
