Abstract

Background: Different conceptions that described formation of hysterical neurosis were analyzed. Findings: Analysis of works on the base of formation of hysteria showed development of this conception in three directions. First – classical theory of Z. Freud, that studied the child with the fear and repression of edipal desire. Other scientists proved this theory and emphasized the role of lack of proper upbringing in the family that leads to the disturbances of psychosexual development – A. Adler, R. Khan, S.M. Jonson. Second – sociocultural direction, presented by G.S. Sullivan, E. Fromm, V.N. Myasishev, L.L. Shapira refused the theory of obligatory link of hysteria and psychosexual development. Third – integral, that combined the theory of different psychotherapeutic directions - A. Jakubik, A.I. Zaharov, V.I. Garbuzov. Discussion: In our days the multifactorial model in formation of neurotic neurosis is proved. Along with the leading role of family in formation of the child it is necessary to analyze the role of community in general. The subject of "hysterical culture" at present is widely discussed. It is important to include this factor in further studies.
