These guidelines provide essential information for authors wishing to contribute to the EHPS newsletter. Please follow the instructions below to ensure clarity, quality, and consistency across all published content.

Guidelines for the EHPS newsletter

General information

The newsletter is sent weekly (Fridays) by EasyConferences.

A newsletter will be sent if at least one item was submitted by Wednesday at midnight (23:59 CET).

All EHPS members may submit newsletter items.

Items have to be sent to Sharon Cahill (the EHPS administrator) through the form below, who collects and forwards the approved items to EasyConferences.

If it is unclear whether an item should be included, the EHPS administrator will consult with the EHPS Secretary, who oversees the newsletter.

Newsletter format

To ensure consistency and efficient processing, all newsletter items must follow these submission rules:
Each item must include a clearly defined title.
The title should be concise and descriptive, reflecting the main purpose of the announcement.
The body of the item must be text only.
Simple formatting such as bold, italic, and bullet points is permitted. Complex formatting, embedded images, graphics, and tables are not allowed.
No file attachments are accepted.
Authors who wish to link to a document (e.g., a PDF, flyer, or poster) must upload the file themselves to an external online location (e.g., institutional website, cloud storage, project page) and provide the link within the text. The sender is responsible for ensuring that the link works and remains accessible.
Newsletter items that do not comply with these formatting requirements may be returned for revision or excluded from that week’s newsletter.
